Residential living accommodations at the New Jersey Eastern Star
Home are private rooms for active, independent individuals. As a
resident, you can design your private room to reflect your own sense
of style. The Home provides each resident with a single bed, a nightstand,
a dresser, a desk, a chair and a lamp. You are encouraged to bring
your own favorite furnishings to compliment or replace furnishings
provided by the Home to make each room truly your own. Meals, housekeeping
services, and laundry service are provided on site, so residents
can spend their time enjoying all the activities and opportunities
to be involved in life at the New Jersey Eastern Star Home.

Each day you can look forward to enjoying three delicious meals
with your friends in the dining room at the New Jersey Eastern Star
Home. (And, if you have your own favorite recipe, you can offer
it to the chef and it just might be included among the extensive
menu offerings!) When you’re ready for some fun, there’s
always something happening… Attend a birthday or theme party,
take a craft class, play Bingo, watch a movie, exercise, or simply
be entertained by a visiting entertainer at the Home. You can also
attend twice weekly church services. New Jersey Eastern Star Home
has a barrier-free bus to take residents on shopping excursions,
to local restaurants, to gardens and historical sites, on fall foliage
trips, and to other popular destinations like the Hunterdon Hills
Playhouse Dinner Theatre.

It’s easy to take care of your errands and everyday needs
at the Home. There’s a beauty parlor, a bank, and regular
visits by the local library all on site at the New Jersey Eastern
Star Home. If you need to get to your doctor’s office, the
Home can provide transportation to your medical appointments. The
on-site Chapel, with its magnificent stained glass window, offers
twice-weekly religious services and is always open to anyone seeking
a quiet spot for spiritual renewal. And, if you enjoy nature and
the outdoors, you can enjoy the Commemorative Gardens with a bubbling
fountain, colorful plantings, and peaceful walkways at the New Jersey
Eastern Star Home.
